For making it into the Baseball Hall of Fame! I have had this autograph ever since I was a little girl, and I’m proud to see that #14 has officially been retired by the Red Sox.

Incidentally, if you can ever make it to Cooperstown, NY, its one of those experiences you never forget. Especially for Red Sox fans.

You know I had to hold my breath throughout the entire bottom of the ninth. I was turning blue and hissing, “Just throw your last pitch, Jonathan. Just throw it. It’ll be over soon. You can go home. I can go to bed.”

Well they did it.

If the Rockies continue with this type of ‘nothing to lose’ attitude, they are going to be hard to beat next year. Congratulations to a very young and talented team.
