Eugenia Millovitsch September 28, 1931 – March 31, 2009 GRISWOLD – Eugenia Millovitsch, 77, of Edmond Rd, passed away peacefully with her children by her side Tuesday afternoon at the W.W. Backus Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Norwich on September 28, 1931, daughter to the late Thadaeus and Anna (Kurpaska) Stadnicki. On September 4, 1950 she was married to Joseph N. Millovitsch, Sr. at St. Mary Church Jewett City, he predeceased her in 1997. Eugenia was most recently employed at Walmart in Lisbon. She ran the concession stand at Hopeville State Park. In her earlier years she worked as a bookkeeper at Max Pepin Chevrolet. She enjoyed painting, gardening and was an excellent cook. She is survived by four children Cynthia Nottingham and her husband Scott of Walpole, MA, Joseph and his wife Charlene of Lisbon, Michael and his wife Robin of Jewett City, and Jeanmarie Petrocelli and her husband Angelo of Plainfield, a brother Stanley Stadnicki, of Griswold, a sister Joan Bajgier of Chichopee, Ma, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law Jerry Zielonka, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Eugenia was predeceased by two sisters Julia Pepin and Madeline Zielonka.
